Lack of money: – Some people marry young. They are not yet well established professionally. Therefore, do not earn enough. It may not be able to satisfy their materialistic ambitions. This can make people feel incompetent. This feeling of inadequacy can do to attack their spouses.

Debt – Loans and credit card debt that continues to add up to lead to anxiety about the future security of the family. Spouses are often unable to enjoy the company of others and appreciate the qualities of the other when they are in the troubled state of mind.

Refusing to compromise – the arguments of money arise when one partner refuses to agree on money matters. Each person has their own personality separate from the money. They have their own spending, saving, borrowing, loan or donation habits. For a marriage to work both parties must adjust and adapt to the personality of the money from each other. Sometimes, your personality can make money your spouse uncertain. Here you ready to change your money habits so that your partner does not feel threatened.

Be economically dominant and aggressive – sometimes one partner tries to maintain absolute control over every dollar. When money is used to indicate a dominant position in a marriage relationship, creates resentment and anger.

Having too much financial pressure on a partner: – Sometimes a business partner is responsible to meet all financial needs of the family. He / she must earn enough for a month, and year after year to pay the electricity bill for the children going to school and university fees, to meet debt service obligations, to buy new furniture, and meet other requirements. This puts too much financial pressure on the spouse. I stress this, because the partner is not for him / her to act grumpy and start petty disputes.

Children: – A partner may start spoiling financial and destroy their children by buying them expensive toys and other gifts too often. The other partner can argue with that. In addition, one partner should pay child support to keep children from a previous marriage or relationship. The new spouse may not like that because it reduces the couple’s monthly disposable income.

The money can cause marital discord for many reasons. Ultimately, the only way to avoid arguing for the funding of the families is to take money from honest discussions with the expectations of his wife.

Article by Christine Bounds

Your money can cause plenty of difficulties for couples. People can fight over the fact that they don’t have enough. Others will fight because they have different ideas towards your money. You need to talk things over with your partner, especially if you end up having problems with money.

12/02/2011 Los Angeles, CA – Mason Riverdale and his spouse Rose come from vastly different economic backgrounds. “Rose comes from money and is used to the top quality stuff. I, however, spent my youth needing to always look over a fence. I worked my toughest to get what I have now. And it has made me much more conservative with how I handle finances.”

Let’s take Annie and Michael’s marriage as an example. Annie is an independent female and she prides herself in being so. Michael is a career powered man, but as he got his much sought after promotion, Annie got fired. And due to the fact kids were in their plans, he recommended that she just stay at home. Sad to say, this led to a great deal of fighting; Annie still wanted her independence. Michael just assumed that since he could make money enough for the two of them, she would be okay without a job. For assistance and to help them learn how they can start solving their marriage problems, they sought therapy.

Not speaking about the situation is probably the biggest mistakes that married couples can make. Sadly, many people still find going into these kinds of decisions, extremely taboo. You do have to keep in mind that variations in money values can mean variations in other areas too. How you were shown about money may have an impact on how you handle other pursuits. This can definitely affect your perspective on the future.

One more thing, you should not presume anything. You can jeopardize your marriage with your presumptions. And that’s what you do if you don’t talk about your partner. This can bring about problems down the line, especially when you start making decisions based on those presumptions. The above is one good example of that. If you are seriously asking the question, ‘how to save my marriage’, then you need to keep yourself from making such presumptions.

Talk about your problems in marriage, especially if you have difficulties with how you handle money. Look for that stability as a couple. You really should not let things go unspoken. Yes, it might really be awkward, but you should do this. Later on, this can help you address marital problems.
